Iréne Kányádi is a restorer and art critic. She completed her doctoral studies at Babeș-Bolyai University and University of Padua with the dissertation ‘A Phenomenological Approach of Space to Giotto's Painting’ in 2013. She earned an MA degree in Philosophy and an MA degree in Restoration and Conservation at the Babeș-Bolyai University and University of Art and Design in Cluj Napoca.
She is assistant professor of History of Art at Universitatea Creștină Partium in Oradea. She publishes art criticism in various magazines. She curated and opened various art exhibitions of Romanian and Hungarian artists. She is currently the chief curator of the Csoma Tárlat in Covasna.
